The 2022 Consensus Conference to Implement Optimal VTE Prophylaxis in Trauma convened a multi-disciplinary group of stakeholders with wide ranging areas of expertise and focus in injury care and venous thromboembolism (VTE) in trauma.

At SAFER-Trauma, more than 50 trauma surgeons, nurses, program managers, researchers, and survivors convened to take stock of existing disparities in injury care and research, and consider innovative solutions to address them.
