Today, the Coalition for National Trauma Research was selected for membership in the Medical Technology Enterprise Consortium (MTEC) M-Corps. Already an MTEC member, CNTR’s designation as an M-Corps partner means that MTEC recognizes our specialized expertise in accelerating health innovation and encourages other MTEC members to select us as partners on submissions for MTEC funding.
MTEC operates under contract to the U.S. Army Medical Research and Development Command (USAMRDC), whose mission is to advance health innovation serving the U.S. military medical enterprise. The consortium is comprised of more than 500 members including traditional and nontraditional defense contractors; small and large business, academic and fundamental research entities; and innovators, all focused on medical, pharmaceutical and life-sustaining health innovations that may be of use to military sponsors.
The MTEC mission is to accelerate warfighter health and wellness, in addition to civilian uses of military medical innovation.
