Guidestar, now collaborating with Foundation Center as Candid, is a trusted, third-party verifier of nonprofit excellence. Candid is an international organization that supports best practices for nonprofit governance though its searchable database of thousands of organizations that have provided their tax documents, governance practices, program information, metrics for success and more. Those organizations with the highest level of transparency into their operations earn the Platinum Seal of approval.
